Manāratul Masīh Centre graduates 10 pioneer students

The inaugural graduation ceremony of Manāratul Masīh Centre for teaching Arabic and Islamic Sciences was held on 26th April 2026 at the school’s temporary centre in Ikotun, Lagos. Chaired by the Respected Amir Sahib , Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria, the event had in attendance leaders of the Jama’at across various levels. Ten students graduated following the conclusion of their studies of Arabic and Islamic Sciences which began almost 2 years ago. They have achieved proficiency in subjects like Arabic grammar, morphology, Islamic jurisprudence, Science of Hadith, Fundamentals of Islamic Jurisprudence, etc.

The Amir Sahib felicitated with the students and prayed that may they be good ambassadors of Islam Ahmadiyya. He called for support to ensure the construction of the permanent site of the school in Ilaro in order to provide a more serene environment for learning.

MANARATUL MASIH Centre was jointly established by Al-Hafidh Abdurrofeeq and Abdurroqeeb Alaka in 2024 to promote the culture of learning Arabic and Islamic Sciences especially within the Jama’at. It is seen as a required measure needed to protect members from being negatively influenced by the anti-Ahmadi scholars and proprietors of Arabic schools as the Jama’at has lost some individuals to these Mullahs. Being the first of its kind by a member of the Jama’at, the school continues to face significant challenges, however, it is hoped that Allah will ease the affairs and enable the school to surmount all its current financial and non-financial challenges.
